About Us
Welcome to Choanoke Outfitters home to some of the best Whitetail Hunting in North Carolina. Our property includes 3800 acres of Prime Hunting lands in Hertford, Northhampton and Bertie counties. Our property has over 60 strategically located stands. These stands consist of shooting towers, and comfortable one and two man ladder stands Our geographic locations allows us to be able place the hunter in the type of environment that he enjoys hunting. Types of terrain include swamp bottoms, hardwoods, pine blocks, thickets, marsh lands and various grain fields. These terrains allow you to experience different types of hunting experiences and shot selections.

We offer one the longest deer seasons in the Unites States. Our deer season extends from early September through January. In addition to deer we have abundant populations of other types of game. Turkey, quail, ducks and geese are all found on our properties. We also offer hunting packages for predators that include bear, coyote, and bobcats. See our price section for details.
In order to ensure a personalized hunting experience we limit the number of hunters to 6 – 8 per week. Each guide will be assigned 2 to 4 hunters. This will insure that you are being dropped off and picked up in a timely manner. Also our policy is to pick up all hunters, return them back to the lodge for a hot meal before retrieving any wounded game.
A testament to hunters experiencing what we are describing is 90% of the hunters who hunted with us in 2007 have already re-booked for the 2008 hunting season!
